I just dropped my cobalt ss/sc at the dealership for the follwing

1. To replace both bezels. The shop guy told me they fixed this in the late 05 early o6 production year.

2. My leather was pulling away from the bezel. They had to order a whole new door panel. Again this was fixed late 05 early 06.

3. My catalytic converter sounded like it was an old guy taking a ****.

I'll have to keep all these in mind when my car comes out of winter storage. I know the leader around the door switchs is cut to short. Will the dealership do anything about the leather seats looking worn / stretched out? I only have 4k miles on my co balt, i weight 135lbs any my seats look like ****... like i have 100k miles on them..

brake wear

i have noticed some grooves starting to show on my rotors after 2000 miles. guess id better slow down. also noticed the short leather on right side door insert. will point these out when i go in for my 50% oillife oilchange. dont care who wants to wait for the light to come on and say change oil but mine wont be goin less than 50% . there is a reason they call those idiot lights. if it never said change oil some people probably never would. i drive hard and i like fresh oil in my engines.

Thanks for the info. Actually the next morning when I got in the smell was gone and hasn't been back. I have no idea what it was.
