cobalt ss shifter

I just bought a ss/sc and i was wondering if you can change the shifter on these cars because i personally hate the shifter on the cobalt.

ya but you would have to buy a slip on which suck ass, unless you could get a drill and a bolt and put it through the slip on sleeve..... either way i know thta people HAVE done it on this site

you should just buy a short shifter from Cobalt Addiction and swap the knob after you install it.

Or you could buy a Hurst or B&M short throw shifter from one of our supporting vendors.

i have the bm and the service guys like it better than the stock one, your better off anyway cuz the 1-5 plastic pc is gonna fall off sooner than later anyway. so get a bm or hurst there simple to install and youll be much happier
