Cobalt wings

Do all of the Cobalt trim levels use the same mounting points for their rear wings? us so wouldnt it be an easy sway to delete the IMO ugly wing and put a base spoiler on?

I'd assume they would do it like that to help keep production costs down.

What I'm wondering is what it would look like with no spoiler at all. But I'd have to get a whole new trunk lid (without holes), though.

I just want to be able to look in the rear view and see the faces of those unfortunate fools in their ricers, and that wing blocks it too much...

Good question. I would like to DELETE the SS/SC spoiler and put on the RK sports or Razzi one.

Not sure which I like better.

That sounds like a good idea, the stock spoiler screams out rice. I think the razzi one looks better...the rk sport one sticks out a little too far. You should have somebody photoshop the razzi spoiler on your car.

I think the stock one looks good with the car... Obviously it does the car is doing well... other than that why spend money to replace something that already works well with the car? The onlyw ay that you could do something better just wouldnt make sense money wise... you would have to go witha painted wing not some cheesy black or silver one.

Because the stock one is way overdone and looks stupid. Here's a picture I modified to chop off the wing, plus i modified the rims too. The stock ones are fugly. That along with the shaved SS badges would make this car a real sleeper, nobody would know it's an SS.

trust me no one knows what an SS is anyways. It is amazing how nobody knows what a Cobalt is, let alone my SS but they all LOVE it

If your gunna shave the SS badge, remove the spoiler, switch the wheels then why not just buy a base cobalt and add your own supercharger?

I still say it looks better with the wing... and I dont like the whole sleeper thing, why wouldnt I want people to know I have a nice fast car, If I wanted to have a car that looks stock and slow but went fast I would buy a car stock and make it fast not butcher an SS trim

i agree. is there really that big of a thrill in out-running a Honda Civic when they think they got you? I've done it before, it just gets old to me. negative side-effect is when you pull up to an Neon SRT-4 and they won't race you because they think you're a base coupe.

however, i do think that taking the Chevrolet logo off the trunk makes the Cobalt look better, I plan on doing it to my car, soon. Still kinda nervous I could mess it up (that saying ,"if its not broke, dont fix it" comes to mind). but taking off your spoiler, SS badges, etc etc just gets kinda silly.
