i searched and couldnt find a how to on taking apart the high rise spoiler. i wanted to paint the caps and middle section but dont wanna break something in my pursuit. any help would be appreciated

 

Good LUCK!! I heard its hard to take off. Taking in the factor on how much glue GM puts on there.

 

im not trying to take off the spoiler im trying to paint the center piece and end caps

bump no one knows how to take apart a spoiler

just get a heat gun and a rubber puddy knife and work around the egdes of the caps till you can work them off. but be careful and take your time. literally. it may take a while

 

ok when i get the spoiler off does it just seperate into 3 pieces at that point. is it 3 pieces to begin with or is it one solid part? i was under the impression it was three pieces.

i got a pm from someone who knows how to take apart the wing. you have to use flos and run it through the side caps because they are glued on... under the caps are 2 bolts that hold the middle section on. thats all. figured id let everyone know incase they need a search
