Your idea would work on drilling and taping, I'd just run a little angle up to gain a little clearence from the supercharger, its pretty close with a TVs, m62 does have a lot more room.and wouldnt need an angle
I'm not running a M62 or a TVS ;-)

I wonder too, about getting rid of the stainless part of the fuel rail assembly altogether. I already have the OTTP rail fitting that eliminates the damper. Why can't I feed the rail backwards, cap off the other end where it normally feeds from (or put the schrader there) ??

that would really help clean that up

What are you.running for a charger than, and honestly, you could plug that vacuum hole off, and tap anywhere on the manifold to get moist abs vacuum, and with the fuel line, I don't know either how well that would work going through the ottp fitting, and I'm using that anyway for fuel pressure.

Oh, and I still have all the evap stuff hooked up too, I just relocated it all

hadn't looked at the manifold yet to see if I could just pull from somewhere else entirely. I'll have to look at that.

originally I bought the OTTP fitting for the nitrous system fuel tap, but then I put the Autometer fuel pressure gauge sender there too. Easy enough to revise that if it would work.

How hard is it going to be to get the lysholm to bolt up?

alright guys, i did a little bit of tucking over the weekend. lets start here. on the lsj its def. easier than the lnf. there are 3 circled (kinda) portions of the above pic i took.

the top one, there are a few wires (i think windshield fluid and throttle cable) that were orginally just in front of my strut support beam. who wants that? i simply cut the clips off and moved that **** and stuffed it behind the bar.

next, the hvac area is a mess. i didn't get too far into it, but a little bit of rerouting happened and one piece of loom kinda cleaned that up. i'm sure it can be much better. i THINK you could cut some pieces and it shouldn't be a problem, but i didn't get that far yet. also, we need to figure something out about this damn fuse box mess. its terrible. maybe some sort of carbon fiber cover that could slipper on over that would be key.

lastly, the area in the bottom of the pic. you've all seen this, there are a few wires in some loom that go right across the front of the bay. these could have so easily just been put under that sheet metal from the start, i dont know why i didn't relocate them sooner! again, i just cut the clips and tucked the stuff in there. drilled a hole or two in the verticle sheet metal to attach the wires to with new zip ties and BAM! no more ugly wires in the way. now, these clips that i took off went over some studs, so instead of leaving those open to cut my arms on, i just screwed some wire nuts over them for now (i'm gonna cut them off completely later).

there was a line going near the fuel rail i simply tucked under the panel as well... might have been my fault it was there in the first place

so i hid all in all around 5 big nasty wires and honestly the bay looks alot cleaner. minus the fuse box, there arent too many more big wires to worry about.

i know, some of this is a little half assed but it just goes to show how easy the premise really is and how much of a difference it can really make at a glance.

i also took the time to repaint my dipstick silver, touch up paint some scuffs on the silver paint under the hood, painted the rusty strut supports black, and also plan on painting my headlights black in the back (white now) just to clean up even more. also gotta do something about the wires behind the headlights, what a mess

also, rip off that ugly hood blanket! it looks so much better without it!

but... yea. heres a few more pics.
before:

after

you can see the 'wire nuts' in between the intake and support beam not bad for now. there were a few other little wires there i moved out of the way

something needs to be done about this..

EDIT: even a lil more tucking and painted blower

I'm buying a pre-made "kit" off an already running car, so it'll bolt up. Otherwise, ALOT of work....custom made everything
