over the weekend, i had some time and me and my friends were working on some things for our cars

painted the two covers red..



painted the brake calipers red



and did my front emblem finnaly



next projects are 3rd projector headlights and installing my injen CAI

Oh.

 

calipers. go to pep boys. look in the paint section or ask them for the duplicolor brake caliper kit. it comes with caliper cleaner. caliper paint. brush stick and tape hahaha. only 15 bucks.

the covers under the hood. also dupli color. possibly pep boys but i got it from r s and strauss. it for engines. it can withstand 500 degrees so make sure you get the right one.

and emblem. plastidip.found at homedepot

 

With the plastidip, arent you scared of it just chipping off?

looks good. Im gonna paint my calipers black w/ kk8 flat black over them. gonna look real good

 

well what i did was just tape over the chrome around the emblem. and than tape over the surrounding area with newspaper to avoid over spray. just spray a really thick first coat. you ll see a little bit of the emblem. and than wait like 10 mins. than give it a good 2nd coat. it'll be fine. i have had it for over a month and tis fine

i wish i could tell you haha. those rims came with the car. im going to hopefully this weekend. paint around the rim. red =]

and to anyone who may have noticed. the picture of the rim. my tire looks a little flat. someone slashed my ******* tire =/. who ever did it. well lets just say i dont ever find out.

but i had to buy to brand new tires in the front. the ones i had orginally were nexem3000s and they were discontinued. so i got hankook venus. which are really good. 250 for two. pepboys ftw hahha
