did you heat up the vinyl to get it to look perfect?

Yeah on the Bowtie I used a heat gun . It made it pretty easy , and let me get the vinyl perfectly smooth from the sides to the surface . The SS logo I didnt have to heat up . The vinyl I had was flexible enuff to just push into the groves .

Thanks guys .

Has anyone attempted to separate the clear bowtie from the chrome plated base ? I would like to do that eventually , and do the silver from the inside to maintain the 3D look of the badge .
