Cut off roof

Okay I seen this picture of this sexy SS. And I fell in love with the roof. Is there places that you could actually get this done? I live about 40 mins south of chicago..so not sure. Probably a Cali thing lol. I assume your able to put the roof back on..at least I hope so. How much do you think a place would charge to do a job like this you think? Thanks in advance

It would cost a fortune to get it done half ass right but it would pretty much never be good. The car was never designed to be a convertible so the amount of bracing needed to keep the car from twisting in the middle would weigh alot. It would absolutely ruin handling no matter how well its done these cars are already bendy up top.

It would be awesome to see someone cut the top off and not brace it, first corner the doors would probably never open again.

Seems like an ok concept until you realize that filter will get soaked with water (can you say hydrolock). I am all for getting nice cool air into the motor but yeah that is not a good way.
