I got this.

You could get them sharper if you wanted too, but I decided to mod for more color instead.

These projectors are FAR better. They have a much brighter beam pattern, are far wider, and have a sharper cutoff. Both projectors have this nice, flat cutoff with a step in the middle.

thats what the cutoff is there for. to get maximum light output without blinding oncoming traffic. hence why they go up to the right. if we lived in london the cutoff would go up to the left lol. get it?

iirc recommended to be level ground, 25 feet from a wall, the cutoff should be 3-4 feet off the ground...dont quote me on that though

Yah please explain how high the cutoff should be. I have Gen3's and I think they may be pointing to the ground too much cuz I would love to see much more out on the road.
In the first pics there was a single Z pattern and in the other post there are two Z patterns.. Is that because of distance from the wall? Should they be meeting together at a certain distance?

it should just be one, the reason it looks like two is because the car is two closer to the wall than the single "z"

In theory, on level ground, at 25 ft, the upper cutoff should be 2 inches lower than the center of the projector height on the car. I keep mine aimed to about the center of the car in font of mine's rear bumper at a distance, when I hit bumps I can see the blue cutoff flash on liscense plates

my 6000k on DEPO Gen 1's are aimed at just over the rear bumper of most cars in front of me @ 2-3 car lengths.
