I second the SS badge being sticky taped. I took mine off to paint then put sticky tape back on it and then cut the letters out (the original sticky back lost its stickiness) And yes it is factory color, well a little more silver, but I had spots that were wearing off so I had to fix thefactorys crap paint job.

thanks! Sorry about the XM radio, mine didn't come with it, and I haven't replaced the stereo yet, it is low on the mod list...

The new tuner doesn't have the option to auto on/off which is annoying so it is in the work van, pause and rewind is nice though and I spend 85% of my day in the van.

That is what I'm going to do with mine. I love an all black interior. I just got to figure out what I'm going to do with all the grey panels.

Also, I'm trying to figure out what to do with my dash trim.. I don't want to do something like go a solid color, since my car is just black.. I don't know if I want to go gloss black or just keep the panels stock silver.. Or even do something really creative.. If so, you'll have to see.. It'll sound ridiculous.. lol. Regardless, are there any G5's that have the same kind of trim as the '06 Cobalt with the buttons on the dash and not on the steering wheel? I love the G5 trim, but my buttons are on the dash..

As for the picture request.. Anyone with their trim painted gloss black or replaced with the G5 pieces? If so, post a pic..

Also, if you replace the a/c controller panel (go from the silver one to a black one), would you have to re-program anything or is it a plug-n-play proposition?

Thanks!
Paint it CF color (if that is real a color)
