Myself and another local just bought DDM kits last month, he is running 5k, and I'm running the 6k, difference is there but not huge. Will have to get pics this week for you.

6k is still white light. maybe not AS white as 5k but like ^ he said they look blue head on but the actual light output is white if you hold a piece of paper up to it.

Every bulb will be different. No 2 sets of 6K bulbs will be the same. 4300K is white light and 6K is usually a blue-ish w/ a slight purple hue light. I have them on my balt. 7-8K is usually purple...and it only gets more rediculous from there.

You do realize they change color a bit, right? Mine has a hue or purple when you look at them. They shine whitish on the ground.

6K on HIDs SHOULD NOT appear white when looking at them...sorry guys. Untrue. Thats what 4300K/5000k is for.

These are Philips D2s 4500k but they are actualy closer to 5000k, great visibility and i get enough color from the cutoff.

pictures aren't going to help you since they filter in more blue light than not.

1k difference isn't that much. Ask me how I know.
