ddm hid kit blown fuses. HELP!!!

ok so i bought an hid kit from ddm tuning 35w raptor with the relay kit kit and im trying to install them, everthing went really smooth no problems at all, untill......
When i went to test them out i heard a pop and the fuse for the low bems blew, so i ran to the store and bought a box of fuses and put in a new 10amp and pop,so i looked all over and can't find anything wrong so i tried a 15 amp and pop same thing, so i know i know you arent supposed to over load the wires like that but its just to trouble shoot, anyways then i try a 20 amp and the passenger side came, i only tried one time so the wouldn't melt wires or anything like that.

so whats up did i hook something up wrong i don't know what to do.

you had to have hooked something up wrong. You have short somewhere, check and make sure you did not accidently cross any wires. Also, make sure you have the relay wired properly. If you don't, you may be pulling that extra power through the stock wiring, hence popping fuses

ok i fixed them, turns out the ground wire on the ddm wiring harness had not been crimped hard enough where you bolt it to the chasis because the wire sliped out just enough to lose connection, and i guess the system grounded thru the stock wiring blowing the fuse.
So it ended up being a quick fix, but overall the ddm kit is nice i bought the 10000k kit and they aren't as blue as i expected them to be, but they look so much better than the stock halogens

Glad you fixed it. Give it some time, they will get blue-er over time
