I haven't done it myself, but a hot glue gun and a plastic sraper blade is what our body shop takes off most of the bowties and such.

I don't think you'll have too many problems with them, other than the one in the front fascia. I'm thinking about a chrome emblem there myself.

The Best way I've found to remove badges is with a heatgun and fishing line. Heat the badging for a minute or two and then pull the line through the base of the adhesive. Once the bulk of the adhesive and badge are removed you can remove the rest of the adhesive and rub the surface with a light compound. Rebuild your protective layers on your clearcoat because often badging is applied upon untreated clearcoat. That should do it! All of the badges are adhesives.

Well the car without the chevy logo on the back above the trunk keyhole looks a hell of a lot better. BTW, that's snow's car, his pic.

I beleive pride has nothing to do with what is glued and taped onto your car. Pride should come from being able to afford such a vehicle, and one should be even MORE proud when they conform that vehicle more to suite thier own taste. The owner knows what they're driving, the only purpose for such labels is for the chevy dealership to let everyone ELSE know what you're driving. Remember they're not paying you to drive the vehicle, you payed them. If someone can't look at your vehicle and tell you exactly what it is, then the designer failed. I do agree with pride in owning an american sport compact, but why not tell the guy what kind of car you're driving when he begs to know?

Do you guys also remove the Nike check, the reebok weird thing, or three-stripe adidas logo the from clothing and shoes? Do you scrape company names off of electronics? Repackage your gum into aluminum foil? Do you remove the label from your soda bottle instantly? I don't know it just seems weird to me.

Personaly I like having the Chevy badges because it does say it is a Chevy. Sure one might say that that is free advertising but it seems that everything is advertising.

Just my two cents, but obviously to each his own.

Unless I were to take scissors to my clothes then no, I don't remove the logo. To be honest I don't buy clothes because of WHO makes them, but people these days buy clothes because they have a nike, hollister, abercrombie, and adidas logo. All clothes are the same and the only way to tell them apart is by who makes them. People are self-concious about whether or not they look good.

When I think about buying a vehicle I don't say "Hey I think I want a subaru because the logo is cool and and kia's logo sucks and isn't in right now." I want a subaru because it performs better than the kia. A hollister T-shirt can not outperform an odd name brand one from Ross. It might be put toghther like 10% better...but for $20 more?

Honestly, I hate the chevy logo. I think it shouldn't be gold and it is rather large and goofy. I don't hate it as much as mitsubishi mauling the front grill of their cars so they can put their three diamonds there, but I don't fancy it. I know I want to take the one on the trunk off for sure, but as for the one on the front...maybe, it might look cool.

Sorry for the long post.

Looks nice. I think it will be fine to keep the SS Supercharged logos on mine though...I don't want to shave it completely.

The exhaust pipe on the Cobalts (except the SS/SC) is fugly. It's just raw pipe sticking out the back. What was GM thinking when they did that...

If you get the sports package on the LS the exhaust pipe doesn't look too shabby.
