Ditching the LED fogs for real ones?

Ok, so right now I have some LED strips in place of standard fog lights. I'm getting a little sick of them and I wanna go for something new so I wanna put some OEM fog lights in. I have a few questions:

1: H11 right? I wanna throw some 5000k HIDs in there.
2: Is there a way I could wire them up so they come on with auto-on headlights? I figure some kinda relay would be useful in this situation.
3: Is there anywhere I can pick up all the parts I need (besides the HID kit I mean). I need the housings and the bumper inserts I guess.
4: I was thinking about setting up some smaller LED strips next to the new fogs, kinda do a double thing there... wire up the LEDs to the parking lights and then wire the fogs to the Auto-on lights
5: Any opinions or thoughts?

Thanks for the help!!

1. yes h11
2. Tap the posative wire for the hids into the low beam bulbs, by running a relay, you will still draw power from the battery while using the low beam power as an "on" signal. At least I think that should work.
3. I would try crateenginedepot.com. I'm fairly sure they have them.
4. Go for it, it'd look cool. As an alternative, do halos around the fogs.

Got a picture of the cutoff or light output by any chance? I could do halo's I know a place, wouldn't be hard.

And, g5tuner, PM me with a picture or something, I'll probably take them!

BuyHIDs.com has a 20% off sale for 2 days. The code is 20OFF.

I just got 6ks with slim ballasts and the lifetime warranty for $94 and some change shipped. Also, I understand they are great people to deal with.

Thanks!

So now that I got the bumper inserts I just need the housings and the wiring and stuff. Anyone know where I can get that stuff? I can get the relays from radioshack but I still need everything else besides the HID kit.

Slim ballasts are $20 from buyhids.com. Add another $10 for lifetime warranty on the whole setup. If you don't get in on the 20% off deal which ends Friday, they still offer free shipping.

I'm gonna go with DDM just because I already have a set in my retrofits and I want the colors to match... every HID company has a different idea of what 5000k is.

Ebay link!

I found those on ebay, they look like they come with everything I need. I just have a question about mounting, do the housings connect to something behind the bumper grill? I mean, how do they stay connected to the car?

Don't you need the little side insert pieces where your LED lights are now that are molded for fogs?

Yeah, I just bought them off g5tuner last night. I am going to order up the fog lights and HID kit tonight when I get home from work. I'm also going to order a smaller set of LED strips to go in next to the fog lights after I get the bumper inserts, thinking 3.5 inch should be enough but I'm going to wait to measure.

I ordered all my parts besides the halos. After I get in the housings and stuff I'll look into getting some halos for my fogs, the only thing I need to figure out is how to keep them water proof. I have the LED strips for now, which are water proof so I'll keep those in place for now. Everyone keep an eye out for my new creation Fog light angel eyes! (or led strips lol)

Decided to do both, the mounts and bumper brackets just didn't work on my car.
