not sure. have you considered making one yourself? i'm not sure anyone is going to carry a shift setup like that that will fit right into a cobalt.

I don't think it is possible in a FWD set up.

We use cables, that setup is usually used in RWD where you are shifting the car directly with the gear selector

i had thought about this becuase even though we use cables the shifter is still ending up in a certain position for each gear so why couldnt you fab a plate up like that

Yeah I don't really know much about cars. I'm the only 1 outta all my friends that drives, so I never really had any friends to learn from or anything like that. Which is why I come to forums like these to ask questions and for some help.

Because the shifts are not absolute.

Put the shifter in gear.

Try to move it around, you need that flex with the cables

that wouldnt be too good if you were interested in shifting fast or racing. seems like it could get in the way.

It would bother you driving.

Praticalilty is why you got a sedan right?

Why make it so it is a bitch to drive?

It looks like a pain, youd go to shift and then miss the slot and have to jiggle the shifter around to get it in gear. big pain

exactly you make the slots a little wider to accommodate that

That still might not be enough though! Our shifters are pretty loose and slopy. If they are gated you could have probelms shifting. I guess that there is only one way to find out for sure though!
