driver side hid problem

well i the kit i got was off of vvme.com as a gift so i figured a problem would be coming eventually. my driver side headlight won't come on so i ordered a new set of bulbs and that wasnt the problem so i ordered a new ballast and it still won't come on.. ive checked all the connections and i'm running out of ideas.. why would the passenger side still come on?

Well damn no ideas?

check your ground. it has to be on metal to metal plate.

if you hear the buzzing sound coming from the ballast then you know the ballast is working.

double check the connections. polarity on these kits can sometimes be opposite so you may need to flip them around.

Is it running off a relay harness? I know some of the older 3-fuse style relay harnesses we had, had separate left-right-battery fuses.

Or if it's a headlight kit, check the headlight fuses. There should be separate fuses for the passenger and driver's side.

Running a relay harness? Could have gotten wet and corroded the connections.

i checked all the connections and fuses and everything seemed good, the kit i have has a relay but everything seems alright but the ballast on that side wasnt making the buzzing sound so i ordered a new ballast and it doesnt make the buzzing sound either.

so i think it might be a bad connection. i'm gonna check it out tomorrow if it stops raining

It's not gonna buzz if the relay is bad. Not only could have the connections on the relay could have gotten wet, but if water got inside the relay itself the relay could be bad as well. I would replace that next.
