E-brake handle?same for a sc an a 2.2

E-brake handle?same for a sc an a 2.2

The first thing I saw when I bought my 2.2 pursuit is the wtf is that E-brake handle.I want to know if its the same one as the cobalt ss sc.No matters what is the answer did someon find a way to replace it with aftermarket parts sush as the MOMO pit lane or SPARCO.
Need help to resolve this problem.

If it's crappy and plastic, then yes, it is the same as the one on the ss/sc. I'm wondering the same thing you are, I'd love to get rid of the one in my SS. I'd also like to install a boot for the e-brake handle as well so I'd love to hear if anyone's found a solution for this...

I've seen some "stick on" handle covers on e-bay that look pretty sweet... haven't bought one yet....

I can't believe GM put all this nice silver detail on the dash, shifter, and radio.... then skipped the e-brake handle.

Yeah, it's the same. I HATE the E-Brake handle.

Vendors, please find a solution for this. Preferably something not flimsy and more ergonomical than a rectangle. WTF was GM thinking?
