Ebay projectors with HID

alright so ive finally stopped being lazy and got some pics for you guys.

i was the guinea pig for the ebay projectors that came with a 6k hid kit for a total including shipping of 320, which is a badass deal

so i got them in the mail and theres nothing special, they are the ebay projectors with the hid kit. works awesome and is a killer deal.

everything was prewired except for the halos. all you had to do was hook up the halos, throw them in your car and find a spot to mount the HID box.
my two locations were.... left side was the inside fender, attached to the bolt that holds your windshield washer resovoir, right side was the bolt that holds the horn to a metal l piece. both spots worked perfectly and have had zero problems.

i dont have any pics of the mounting at the moment, but i have to reaim them anyways so ill snap some pics when i do that.

only complaint is that aiming them is a BITCH!!! i cant get them the way i want, but where they do point lights up amazing

also i need help aiming them, i have that big black spot in the center which isnt right i know. anyone that can help would be awesome

how is the visibility? I mean I know you said you don't have the aimed properly, but how's the light output in general? seems like a quality product? this is going to be the route I take if I get the projectors because I want HIDs but don't want to pay a fortune for them

sounds like a good deal... Any issues with fogging yet?

I'm going to subscribe this for when you get them aimed and hopefully have some pics of the mounting...

no fogging but when it rains there is some reflection.. ill show you guys if it rains, but it doesnt effect light output, just adds more reflection around.

also a warning to someone who gets these. the projectors werent designed for hids. so they can get warm. when your aiming DO NOT put a towel or something over the light. i learned the hard way and it semi made a little bumpy spot from the plastic heating up so much. but on normal use it works perfectly and you dont have to worry about it at all. i used a garbage can to block it after that incident

also light output is awesome. 6k is perfect for the best light i believe.

i have them aimed around the right height, might be off a little, but i believe its because i ahve them to wide. need to narrow them and aim them forward

hids arnt colder then halogens if im not mistaken

i like the light output of 6k. it doesnt give you that blueish, but a slight tint looks wise. and output wise it looks awesome
