tell me thats not the prettiest cleared tail light you have ever seen.
The tails would be sexy if they didn't have a picture of some ugly guy in the middle of them LOL

What do you NEED a TC grill for?
If you get a grill tho, I suggest painting it black, cause it looks weird with black lights and grey grills IMO
And I doubt his are mirror. Tails just looks glossy as hell when done right. If you take a close up of tinted tails, chances are you will only notice the background reflection

So is that shine mostly attributed to the paint gun rather than rattle can clear? If so I need to get a gun asap. I wetsanded with 2k but mine don't look that good. Did you use an electric polisher?

I would say paint gun. I have done a lot of nite shades even with clear, but it never comes out THAT glossy.
The way mine are done is pretty similar to nite shades (just better materials IMO), but the clear with a piant gun smooths it all out and glosses it up

exactly, rattle can clear leaves alot of texture. its just the can and the material. nothing you can really do about it. my lights were previously rattle canned, tried wetsanding and everything but it just wasnt the same. Paint guns atomize the paint more which means every drop of paint it lays down is alot smaller then rattle can which comes out in clumps. the smaller droplets help it lay down smoother and with little to no texture when sprayed correctly. paint guns are cheap, you can pick up one at carquest for like 100 bucks. when taken care of they will last a loong time. id invest in one if you plan on modding some cars in the future

Yeah paint guns are the best. You can make everything look and last so much better. My grandpa just bought a full paint booth off craigslist for $300, so I am pretty excited haha

Yeah. It was a full plenum setup with fan too. Quality ****. The guy was asking $3k, but my grandpa got him to a grand. Then the guy realized he had told him the wrong dimensions, so he let it go for $300. My grandpa does tractor repair so size didn't matter anyway haha

Just bought some pre tinted taillights from motorblvd on ebay so we will see how they turn out cause if they are bad I will just take them into a customer of mine who owns a custom body shop and get them professionally done for cheap! I like to have 2 sets just in cause the cops decide to give me hell.
