Eyelid Pics
Eyelid Pics
Just finished my eyelids today. Used the color match code provided by the forums in here
Dealer charged me $14.99 for a 5oz can
worth it tho. only had one in stock so i took some flat black duplicolor i had from the hubcaps (sick of stock gray and not enough $$ for the rims i'm eyeing) and tossed down a few light coats first. 4 clearcoats later and presto! sorry about pic quality, only usin my phone

also a pic of the shift boot/ebrake boot i stitched up a few days ago

fully debadged minus the front bowtie that i painted flat black to match the hubcaps (and rims eventually) and the soon to come grill. i have nightshades on the way so i'll wait to post pics till i got that on. (i'm also gonna wire up the reverse light housing so that the outer ring lights up with the brakes. i'll post a how to once its done if there isn't one already.) anyway, i can still see where the massive rear bowtie sat, no matter how much i wash and buff. there aren't any scratches, its just visible for some reason. no goop or anything left on it, it almost looks like the clear coat is messed up. any ideas on why or if anyone else ran into this? i'd appreciate some help. can't tell from anymore than 5 feet away but its not right and bugs me. just wanted to say hi to the forums and show off my car
