grill

Thanks.......I'm glad that people like it, I was kind of unsure how it was gonna turn out, but I'm happy with it.

Kind of hard to do a how to now that's it's already together..............i have a friend that wants me to do the same thing to his Arrival Blue LS, so if I end up doing that I will make a how to. As for the bowtie; I just masked off the chrome and used some high heat black spray paint (all that i had at the time) and shot it with some clear.

I really don't like the eye lid idea because I have yet to see a car with similar headlights to our's which makes it a "stand out" like the corvette's dual brake light set up.

eye lids look good on vertain colors... i think it looks glld on the yellow red and black.. but i also like the insides of the headlights painted black to match my car. if i just painted my headlights insides black, then i wouldnt get eyelids.. but its a pain in the ass

I would send you a template if I had one. I made my eyelids simply by applying windex to the sticker putting it on the headlight, selecting an angle, than cutting it. I have a friend who knows how to make these professionally (he can make them look accurately like mine). Let me know if you guys are interested, I can tell him to make another pair. This is the first time my auto-teacher seen the eyelids, she said the front looks like a ford focus...

go outside with a piece of paper, lay it on your eyelid, trace. mail it to me... done

I can have them made also, I would be willing to hook as many people up with them for as cheap as possible. but without a better look at yours I would need a template. I can even Make Crazy Shaped ones. I might do My taillights and see how it looks.

how do you cut the eyelid's on the headlight? wouldn't that scratch the plastic by using a razor?

Nope there was no scratches, I was affraid of this myself, so I cut it very gently instead of pressing down hard.

I designed and made my eye lids out of vinyl myself.

his matches pretty good. I am just not fond of the fittment. But he also cut his himself, not by a machine like I would use. they look pretty good.
