Fix myself or go to dealer?

So being this was my first winter with snow I slid into a wall casuing 1,200 damager to my front end. Its all cosmetic and just the front bumper, didnt even damage fogs or head lamps. Got a quote from the dealer, but Im thinkin I can wait around untill I find a Silver SS front bumper and throw in on myself. Just seeing what you guys think, Ive heard its hard to get the gaps just right.

I bet he was driving on Stock Pzeros only if he had snow tires they would have melted all the ice and snow that the tire comes in contact with and he wouldn't have been in the accident.....LMAO

This year was my second snow year on Perelli Pzeros, and they worked perfectly fine for me, not one problem.

I had whatever came with my voxx mozas, prolly a summer tire. I had been getting around fine in them, only had a problem when we got our first snow, 8 inches and hadnt been plowed yet, I still made it to work though. Just gotta take it slow. Anyways I was screwing around and its my fault, was going way to fast. The rents bought me snow tires shortly after.

See this guy knows whats up.

Okay, to make you feel better, I actually did get a little stuck with my snow tires yesterday. I thought it would be fun to park on top of a frozen snowbank... well I forgot that it was in the 40's outside, so when I came outside to leave work I sunk down and the car bottomed out, lmao. Took about 30 seconds of rocking back and forth to get out.

Yea he may not have had snow tires but thats not on him.. I dont buy snow tires for the winter for the same reason.. You dont need them 99.9% of the time since neither of us have much of a winter where we live..

Also Im pretty sure I have never seen snow tires even advertised anywhere down here and im willing to bet its the same way with that area too.

Im actually in Indiana now, weird thing is ive seen several ss/scs rollin around on the pirellis. Only other car ive seen with snows is a new camry. People around here get around just fine with all seasons. While I can notice a huge difference with the snows in bad conditions, I regret getting them. Would have been fine on what I had, and just spent the 800 to fix my car. Oh well live and learn.
