Flat Black Rear Bowtie

What do you guys think of my new rear bowtie? The picture really doesn't do it justice!

Friday afternoon my friend mike (ckymike) and I whipped out the sandpaper and paint to give my rear end a new look. I masked off the chrome edge, leaving it on for some contrast.

So far I'm thrilled with the results and I'm hoping to do the same to my front bowtie as well. If anyone here is interested in having this done to their bowtie as well let me know and I'll talk to my friend and we can work something out.

The paint that looks scratched is just some residue left over from when I cleaned the origional adhesive that attached the badge to the car. I did remove the badge before I painted it.
