Fubar ark antenna install

So, ive been able to get my RC car antenna off before, I had the day off and wanted to put my ARK antenna that i got for christmas. but today it wasnt happening. Apparently the aluminum mounting bracket gave before the threads on the antenna did, so i have a hole in my car waiting for parts to arrive. Also it was a sad trip to the dealer, there were hardly any cars there, they are slated to shut down in 2010

dont feel bad, the same thing happened to me but the screw also decided it wanted to break in the antenna. so what was suppose to be a 5 minute thing turned into a 3 hour hassle.

Oh yea, those antennas don't like to be threaded off. Mines just kinda snuggled in there with the rubber fitting.
