Looks like a G5 GT with SS/TC wheels .

I always liked the G5's rear better than the Cobalt.

 

Nice. I wanna keep my 4 Cobalt lights... BUT, I would love to have the G5 GT Rear Lip.

I wouldn't mind swapping rear bumpers with a 2.4L Cobalt either.

Love the G5 GTs. They're just so much cleaner at the ass end.

Is it possible to fit the G5 GT lip to a LT rear bumper? Obviously you'd need clips and what not, but its possible right?

 

holy **** thats clean. i know you got it painted all at once but how much do you think it was to get the keyhole shaved and the trunk painted? this might be my next mod

 

I'm not sure. If it did fit, you'd have to cut slots in the bumper to mount it.

I shaved the trunk. Everything was painted for $300 (cash deal). Would have been almost $700 through a shop.

The G5 GT bumper the cobalt bumper are slightly different at the bottom. You could modify the G5 lip to fit, the Cobalt if you are good at bodyworking and plastic welding.

I know that adding the SS rear lip to the G5 does require modification.

 

so can you take the g5 gt rear lip and put it on the rear of an ss/sc...

I don't know. The ss bumper is cut out higher in the middle than the g5 since it has those vents. I never tried to see if it would fit though. If the g5 lip wasn't so expensive, I'm sure someone would have tried it. You might as well be the first to experiment.

I know you can put a ss lip on a gt bumper, so I assume so. I don't think it's been done yet.

 

cause i like your GT rear lip, it will sure look more clean than my SS rear lip.
