I always thought a Coby would actually look really good with some clear tails. Just no red. All clear.

they couldnt be ALL clear, they would have to have some sort of red reflection to them over a certain about of surface area...

Couldn't you just have it be all clear wit ha red LED bulb? I've seen all clears before. Lexus's one SUV had them. Looked dope.

this is not true at all. just like the other guy said lexus and plenty other car companies have used clear lenses.

hahaha that's freakin awesome. then yes these will be DOT approved hahaha. these molds are like i said EXACT replicas and even the parts of the tail light with texture show up so the dot should show. that's too funny, now i know what your talking about.

Honestly, ill get clear and either tint it lightly or leave it, but i was toying with the IDEA of tossing in purple and red LEDs so when im at a show i can have purple lights, but on the road im red.

clear or tinted clear would easily bring out the purple.

i know im just clearing the air .. atleast for myself so no one can come back on me .....


here is a quick job on a black insert that i did for the ion redline taillight ... havent sanded it or made the lens yet ..... but i think it looks ALOT better this way ...

and thats not paint btw
