Gen.3 - LED vs. CCFL?

I was about to order the Projectors on JM Auto, when I see that there are CCFL and LED. The LEDs projectors' MSRP is about $ 100 more, but it says that the CCFL are 4x brighter. Which one is the truth? Which one is better?
Thank you
Christian

Hmm usually the ccfl's run alot more than the led ones, and yes the ccfl's are alot brighter than the halos that would come with led projectors

These are the led projectors with halos, wish i would've gotten ccfl's!

I guess you're suggesting the CCFL then, If they make a better light in the dark. I want to chaqnge them because my headlights are too weak. The highways are not illuminated, and at night it's not easy to see the road. Forget about when it rains.

Brighter halos are not going to make your output any better.

Yeah the brighter halos are just for looks, it all depends on the hid color temp when it comes to light output

CCFL's are better than LED.
I have Red LED and you can't see them at all in daylight..
and at night with the lights on, you can't tell I have HALO's unless the lights are off, they're not that bright.

CCFL's are a lot brighter. LED's are nice, but not a bright as CCFL. I personally go with CCFL, but it depends on if you really want the halo rings to show or not. I have pics of my 2nd gen's with CCFL, but don't have them up anywhere to post. I will later tonight when I go home tonight and post them up here.

Edit, hope everyone can see this since it's from my facebook page.

Thank you guys all. I will go with the CCFLs. If you can't see the rings with the LEDs, really doens't make sense to go halos

Well I'm pretty sure smoked headlights are illegal for one.
