The one thing I need to do though is start bringing my Sharp gun to the shop to prime. The primer guns we got there spray like ass. They need to be rebuilt. My bumper feels like sandpaper because the gun had a messed up fan pattern, sprayed very heavy on top, and the bottom just shop globs of mess on the car. Isnt a huge deal, but when I prime the rest id rather it lay down as smooth as possible so its less sanding work in the end.

I really want to lol. Its just so much more unecessary work and sanding lol. But id love to see how it looks. I could even get a dark grey/black primer and be all flat black for awhile lol.
lmao! it does kinda look like that
And iv been wetsanding this car since 12:00 today, and holy crap im tired of doing it. got most of the hood (i need some medium reducer to take the adhesive off where the hood stripes were), both fenders, driver and passenger door, rear bumper done so far. I still gotta finish the front bumper (which is taking forever since i needed to guide coat and get all the primer level and smooth) and the a pillars c pillars and roof. Ill do the jambs when i rip the door panels and weather stripping off. Ill just scotch bright them
still have the roof and pillars and certain areas to do but thats for another day. Moving houses tommorow and im exhausted from this. *yawn*

yea absolutely. i just cant yet as its still my DD while im doing all the BS work on the exterior, then when im ready to take the door panels off and remove weather stripping ill leave it at the shop and remove everything I can. Do the painted mirror covers just snap off? They seem like it, i just didnt take a clip tool to them yet.

yeah they just come right off lol. be careful though because its easy to screw them up. take your time de trimming everything on the car because a lot of the parts are somewhat fragile.

alright cool. I think most modern econobox's are extremely fragile I had to do some plastic repair on the hinges of the cubby where the trunk release button is. My leg hit it when it was open and cracked the plastic hinges off. Used some plastic repair to put them back on and its good as new. But i can see things going this way lol. I gotta be super careful

yeah tell me about it. i went to push the tab in to remove the reverse light protector plastic and it snapped right off. the parts literally 6 dollars. piece of ****.
