Getting some projectors
So, im gonna get some projectors for my balt, but i dont want to fork over the $$$$ for retrofits...so im trying to find some decent quality projectors, hopefully built in the USA. I found these projectors which look sweet, and the brand name is ANZO USA which leaves me to believe that they are made in the USA.

from their description it sounds like they put some time into making them, also, ive never seen these on cobaltss.net before, some feedback on the appearance too
EDIT: theres also a coupon code: ANDYFACE
get them for 190

I've seen those headlights all over the forums. They're gen 2s. Obviously your best bet would be to get retrofits but if you don't want to spend that kind of cash on them, get the gen 4s. I think they look the cleanest out of all the aftermarket projectors and they don't have any ricey leds on them. I'm telling you, though. Retros are a dream. I really recommend them.

dang, those are the gen 2's, i did not even notice the led's, and i admit the led's are ricey.... however i do like the halos. i would get retro's but they are kinda expensive, and won't they leak if the seal is broken?

Yeah, they'll only leak if the person who made them did a **** job. Just don't buy them from someone who doesn't know what they're doing. If you think about it, you're paying twice as much for retros than the Gen 2s but they're going to look and perform ten times better.

Dont get Gen 2's. Get Gen 3's. Cutoff rapes gen 2's in the ass, however the halo's are not as bright, the entire light is a better quality piece. Please listen to me and thank me later. Iv owned both sets. Still have a set of Gen 2's in the attic. Took both set's apart, modified both, and Gen 3rd are hands down better. Even look better. The halo's in the Gen 2's are bright, but are too oversized.

If halos and LEDs are your thing then go for it. If you want to look more OEM get either the gen4s (which I have) or shell out some dough for some retros. What kind of look are you going for?

Save your money...and wait till you can afford retro's....Im being 100perecent honest when i say Ebay/aftermarket projectors are built really shitty...I can speak from experience...I have owned a set since 07....they are garbage...and i couldn't of been happier when i finally bought a pair of stockers again.
=The orange reflectors loose there color after time
=for whatever reson there is a clear coat on the lens that will peel in time
=The lens is made from low quality plastic(just like the whole housing) and will crack over time
=they dont fit the same as stock...not very noticeable, but i for one care about that kind of stuff
