get goo gone, your gonna need it... and prob a soft plastic squeegee thing to pry off the adhesive.. and what i did when i went wingless for a while was i got a piece of vinyl that matched the paint and used it on the top to cover the whole decklid if you want it to be temporary like i did

Tips for taking the wing off... Heatguns are your friend, theres wayy more adhesive under these things than youd think! But i plugged the wholes with some "christmas tree" type body fastners and silicone. Then painters taped around the other holes onthe decklid and used silicone from underneath, let cure, then peel off tape and paint silicone and plugs with touchup paint.

buy a g5 trunk and be super shaved...lol
i wouldnt remove your wing. get an oem or carbonfiber trunk without a wing and do it right. all other ways are a pain in the ass, time consuming and still not super cheap after your time invested and materials needed.....gl man

I used some screw type plugs and silicone on the bottoms to fill the holes in on mine. When you screw them tight, they squeeze up and out to fill the hole and prevent anything from getting in. Mine was only temporary to see if I really liked it or not, but they've been on there for about a year without any problems..
