Hey guys.

I've got an orange cobalt ss/sc as well - and am now debating on black or orange to match the car. Much credit to Silver SS/SC for his work; these are a MUST HAVE!

I got a Question.

I got a ? for you CobaltSS/SC. I read on your earlier post that this pair of lights in the picture was only a practice test run that you were going to do another pair. I was wondering what is going to happen to the pair on your car now? We have twin Silver SS both on lease and I love the look of the headlights you already made. Check out the pics I just put up in the gallery. Hit me back with an answer either way I wont take it personnel if you do something else with them.

i definately think those would look hot on a black ss!! as a matter a fact i think i might try it on my black ss. awesome job man!!

I definately think that it looks so much better if its the same color as the vehicle... but its cool because u can do anything you want to personalize your car

Has anyone done a color-matched set yet? I'm really anxious to see how it would look. I'm willing to be the guinea pig and do one IF (if if if) I can find the lights cheap enough somewhere...I'm thinking of calling around to some junkyards to see if (God forbid) they've had any Cobalts come in wrecked with 2 intact headlights.

The ones I did this weekend are black, which easily matches my black LS... because lets face it... black is black. I think it would be tough to get another color matched up. I'm sure its possible, but I wouldnt run the risk of being too far off.

PS- pics will be up sometime next week, gotta touch some things up on the lights and put on the vinyl sunstrips... I couldn't possibly show you guys a half ass-ed attempt.

For all those curious about color-matched headlights in lieu of the new vettes, I am in the process of doing color-matched Rally Yellow headlights. As for the colors being "too off" I got the color code for rally yellow from my dealer and am getting it custom done at a nearby hardware store. I had a post on this previously, but I will post picks ASAP after completion.
