GPS obdII?

Has anyone seen or heard of a in dash gps/dvd player that also connects to the obdII port that can you give you different gauge readings??

I'm not sure if i'm explaining this correctly..
Instead of adding, for example, dual interceptors, i can just have replace my stereo unit with one that has a touch screen gps and all the readings I could possibly ever need???

This would be awesome.

it would be cool to not have to need all the ugly guages in the pillar and just push a button on the screen and everything is right there...

how on earth do you think something from your obd2 port is going to interface with your Pioneer unit?

I wasn't saying that there is such a product..
I was just hoping somebody would have heard of one or know where to buy one.

it would be really convenient.

they sure have been working on it for a while..
Maybe some vendors who might know more about this can chime in??

because that's exactly what I have been looking for. Will eliminate the need for gaudy pillar gauges.
