I have a question about adding a spoiler to my gray cobalt lt that has no spoiler. Its a 2008, and its relatively new but has NO spoiler and came like this. So i was wondering if it would be possible/how to get an SS spoiler in this color and get it installed. Because I have an LT with no spoiler and i want an SS spoiler in a color that the SS doesnt even come in would this even be possible... just let me know what you think.. just to give you an idea of what i have, this is my car:




But the picture is kinda messed up and the real color looks more like the car in this picture:


but in general i would prefer the ss spoiler.. if not possible id take the sport spoiler .. but are either of these possible.. and how would i do it.. let me know please

sure it's possible....you'd have to buy a spoiler and bring it to a body shop, have them paint it....then either you or them install

 

If you do get a SC/TC spoiler atleast get a lip kit. They look stupid on stock bumper base's.

 

If you get a high rise get the lip kit. It just doesn't look right with the huge wing and base bumpers. You should also invest in a drop so you dont have half a foot of wheel gap.

anyway. The last thing you should do is get an ss spoiler. Save your money on (1) 18" rims aNd (2) lowering springs. Even lt look good with a nice set of wheels and a drop. Nwae has an lt with a high rise and his **** looks banging cuz he's dropped and has a bad ass set of rims.

And I don't even wanna here those who say "it's his car, he can do what he wants" cuz you know it's right. I'm just trying to help op

Get whatever lips that guy has in the pics you posted and your car will look nice. Forget the spoiler.

 

That colour is called Slate Grey Metalic. My gf's cobalt sport is the same colour. its badass! Probably my favourite colour in the cobalt, next to victory red of course.

 

The lip in the front is the GM ground effects package

 

It'd look 100 times better if it was actually the color of the car.

As well as the front and rear bumpers. They do not look the same color either.

 

Either way it's still a sharp looking cobalt.

 

The bumpers are the same color, that's the light hitting them since they're plastic. Go outside and look at your car you'll see the same thing.

 

I have red one u can get painted your color for relatively cheap.

I have an LS and i got the SS spoiler on ebay, they had it for 240 something and it was already painted, i believe the place i bought it from had just about every color so you may want to look around on ebay.
