Ground Effects off SC fit on 2.4 L? help please

Ok so on here everyone says the SC ground effects fit on the 2.4 bumpers but my dealer told me today that if i wanted to put them on i would have to buy the SC bumpers also... which is alllooottt more money...? help?

nope. All you have to do is cut slits into your existing bumper for the lip to attach to it. Thats it. I know there was a pic around here that showed the slots.

the rear bumper would have to be altered but the front bumper all it is a chin spolier(sp?) which just snaps in with the pull clips (name?)

From a dealers perspective they wouldn't advise modding the bumper, of course, and from a parts guys perspective, if they haven't actually physically looked at the bumpers but only the part numbers, they are different and thats the answer you're going to get. Just tell them that you talked to a few people with both cars and tell them what the difference is, then purchase the pieces and get the bodyshop to do it for you if thats your choice.

By the sound of this question, it seems like you want the dealer to do the installation. That isn't going to happen. This a modification that you would have to do yourself. You can buy the SS/SC parts from their GM Goodwrench counter, but they will not install them for you.

Nah... my dealer would install it... i live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone......... but anyways ... i dont kno what to do.. this is all confusing
