halo ring replacement?

I got a bunch of used parts from one member. One of the parts was black halo projectors. I get them all wired up and the driver side hi-beam ring does not light. I checked all the wiring and used a tool for it... I'm assuming the ring is ruined somehow. I couldn't find any threads asking or telling how to replace them. Where can I get what I need to replace one of them? It pisses me off that he sold them to me that way, but now I just have to deal with it.

I just posted a thread on possible replacements 3-4 days ago. The web page is vleds.com. I have a link the thread if you search for it.

I know it sounds crazy, but the R1 guys have been making their own halos/angel-eyes with this method for years!
Best of all, they are glass... they don't melt!

wow the guy who came up with this is genius. I would have never thought of using the ring of light from a computer fan as a halo. for R1 owner who did this.
