Lightbulb Halogen experts step inside...

Ok so after calling Sylvania the fog lamps on the SS are H11 55w halogens.

I have found about 6 or so places on the web that sell a H11 bulb set in yellow. The brands are Nokya, and Luminics.

When driving during the day the orange-ish driving lamps are on, then when you turn on the fog lamps the driving lights dim down. What I want is all 4 lights to have roughly the same color.

The new H11's in yellow might be a pale yellow, but thats all they offer them in.

I'm wondering if these yellow bulbs are going to heat up the wiring to much or heat the fog lamp enclosure too much. The specs are 55 Watt draw and one does 80 watt output and the other 130 watt output.

What do you all think? as always all opinions/advise welcome

The bulbs are gonna be more yellow than you think . Ever seen a certain lexus and mercedes models with bright yellow fogs . Most of the yellow bulbs on the market are gonna produce a really vibrant bright yellow color . Your stock headlights may make it not as noticeable though . I normally see the yellow fogs on cars with real HID , so the yellow contrasts greatly with the whitish blue headlights .

This is the setup I was going for on mine car too, but it all depends how the fogs look with the drl's. but I think my Hid's will drown out the drl's anyway, we'll see.

I'll get pics just gimme a couple weeks since I don't even have my ride yet.
