halo's during the daytime

halo's during the daytime
was just wondering with gen 3 halos/leds... during the day when driving, the halos and leds act as DRLs right, and are lit up? also, it the amber corner/blinker lit up too?

no. I wired them to the parking lights and they only come on when its dark and the drl come on as well with the headlights, but during the day I don't think they come on with the parking lights not manually turned on. idk, confusing. just use the how to halo proj. thread and see for yourself. You can always switch it around.
If you hook them up to you're DRL's then they will shut off when you're headlights come on at night. I played around running with them hooking them up to my DRL's but didn't realize the amber lights at night are on a diffrent circuit and shut off the halos and led's. The halos arent very bright on gen3's so you dont see them during the day as you can see in my pic. Not worth it IMO.

thats so gaaayyyy. thats like the only reason i want them. my uncle just got a 328i and his halos are on during the day and theyre real bright and look amazing.
i wanted it when i switch to have the halos white during the day w/ 6k fogs and then at night obviously everything on at 6k pure white. if the halos arent on during the day i might stick with the yellow drl's (blinkers) and yellow fogs for the day time driving, and have the 6k headlights/halos on aat night. im just trying to get an idea what the front of the car is going to look like during day/night.
...hell, maybe even yellow fogs, yellow led's and yellow blinker for daytime driving, would look sweet. and then just the white halos/6k headlights for night time.
