so i was thinking tomarrow i was going to re-due the head liner...(i dont know if i said that right) but just need some ideas on what color and fabric to do it in...i was probably going to get the fabric from joanne fabrics

its the grey ebony....i was going to redue the headliner and the A-pillars and probably the back deck

 

first dont go to whatever home fabric store you are talking about.... theres a huge difference between home material and car material... try to find like a sunshine foam company, Miami Rubber or what not.

besides you won't be able to find alcantara at a home fabric store. :P

 

When I do mine it is gonna be yellow and black padded vinyl like in 50's/60's cars`

I did my interior in all black faux suede. Looks awesome and people love it (they can't stop touching it lol) I went to fabric land and got all the supplies there. You can check out my profile for a look at the finished product (well it's not quite finished as I am going to tear it all apart again and stitch it so it's proper) PS fabric adhesive does NOT work on the headliner, superglue only if you going that route but I suggest that you take the long route and stitch it.

I can't wait till I finally do my headliner, I'm going to cut flames or something like that out in foam and lay it under the fabric, so the shape will be 3D, I'm kinda thinking about doing my headliner in black leather to match my door panel inserts I just did.
