im doing some mods to my 07 LS and i have seen the insides of the headlights painted black. sorry if this is a stupid question but do you buy them like that and if you do then how do you get them out to paint them?

If you havent ever done them before i dont suggest you do them unless you have a spare set of lights........

 

Yeah, it is a pain in the ass to do. I manage a collision center and it even gave me fits. i would not suggest doing this yourself unless you are really mechanically capable.

 

Do them yourself, just do like this ^^^ to be safe if you mess up. i followed one of those how-tos and did it pretty well on the projectors.

Reccomend that you use sand paper, primer, painter's tape (the blue stuff) and a lot of patience.

just noticed that it was a lot of P's. hah.

 

i couldnt get them apart and i had a heat gun.. so i just bought the projectos they look beter than painted lights anyways.
