headlights blacked out

headlights blacked out

ok so lastnight i painted on some eyelids with kyrlon fusion paint for plastic and it made me wanna think about painting the whole headlight black,my question is if i paint it all black will that be alright legally?i mean it seems like the lights will shine through unaffected but i wasnt sure

jus wondering if anyone had painted their headlights all black

I dunno why not, just don't paint the reflector piece behind the bulb black.

yes but just painting it, it looks like when i have my headlights on it all shines through unaffected but im just so unsure about it

How would that work if you got in an accident? Could the other people say they couldnt see you because of your headlights and pin everything on you?
Ive heard of it happening with the taillights. People getting rearended and then the accident is blamed on them due to the tinted tails.

they came with the car when i bought it. i think they sold some tinted ones on ebay so i'm not sure whether they're tinted with nightshade or not lol

well im sure their would somehow be a way to prove that the headlights were not tinted to where you cant see them but you have a good point

update-ha did not work what so ever bad judgement on my part but was an easy fix just wiped it off looks like no paint was even there

yeah, sure....go ahead and paint your headlights. it won't block the light at all... i did mine in VHT and it definitely effected the light output. not enough to be undrivable, but definitely way less than untinted

it illegal though. one of my friends has a beamer blacked out to ****. front headlights, tailights and tints. get dicked around with cops all the time. but he doesnt really care

the lighting output DOES suck!
but it does look cool when the halos are on.
i haven't gotten bothered by cops around here yet but i'm definitely going back to stockers once it starts snowing.

its not illegal. not in my state atleast. as long as any light output on the car is visable to atleast 1000' its legal

lol i was gonna say. how the hell do you not know what you did to your car. that would be sad.

almost like getting too drunk and porking a fat chick only to wake up the next morning and say "WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!?!" lol
