Post the pics! I can't see those on myspace from work.

And what type of spray adhesive did you use? I was going to do microsuede, but I think I might just dye it instead. Or leave it the original color.

That does look sick! How much material was needed to do that?

i did mine in suede as well.
that whole headliner comes down...and like 10 people said, they sell an apoxy spray glue...
just make sure to hear the glue a little before you lay the fabric..it helps it stick better and you get a lot less bubbles.

Sorry about the delay of info, I haven't been on here much lately. Thanks to EmperorJJ1 for hosting the pics. I used 3M spray adhesive, there are some other brands as well, they will all work. Taking the headliner out was a PITA! I have a sunroof too, so that was an added challenge. To remove the headliner you have to remove the A pillars, its a torx screw and some "push in" type hold downs (use a little force to pull them off). Next, I removed the visors and visor clips (same size torx screws as the A pillar). Pull the frame piece off around the sunroof controls (it snaps on/off). You will see the aluminum bracket containing the sunroof controls bent onto the headliner, bend them to release the controls. Then I took off the weather stripping around the sunroof (this has a metal compression clip at the end of the stripping). I only took out one of the B pillars, it is not easy and I thought I was going to break the big torx screw. The C pillars come off with a little force (it has the same "push in" type fasteners as the A pillar. Then pull the rear hooks (torx screws). In the center of the rear there is a "push in" fastener (a small circular plastic piece). I pulled the headliner out the passenger side. Once you have a the head liner out, now you have to get the sunroof shade/cover out. To do this you may want to have 2 people for the job. first you have to drop the sunroof down. I believ there are only 4 bolt for this (I think they are 7mm bolts but don't hold me to that). There are drain tubes for the sunroof at each corner, DISCONNECT THESE BEFORE DROPPING THE SUNROOF! (or undo the brackets that hold the tubes in the pillars, this method would probably be easier). Now that the sunroof is down, take the top crossbar off to get the sunroof shade/cover out (it may need a little persuasion). Now that you have the visors, headliner, and shade/cover out, it's time to get them covered. You can paint the plastic pieces whatever color you wish. I used VHT vinyl dye. It works real good on the pillars, the visor pieces, the weather stripping and sun roof controls. To take the visors apart, stick your finger in the gap near the bracket, now just pull it apart (it's only glued together). Take all the plastics off, it's pretty easy to see how they come off. I melted the mirrors off and glued them back on later. I sprayed the visor and the fabric with the spray adhesive, let them sit for 5 to 10 minutes to let it get tacky and then pressed the frabric to the visor. Once you start, don't stop! You won't have a whole lot of time before the adhesive sets up. I used a couple of old spatulas to get the bubbles out and press the fabric down firmly. I did the same with the shade/cover (DO NOT COVER THE 4 TABS THAT FIT INTO THE BRACKET, IF YOU DO, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT BACK TOGETHER). Now that you have a little bit of practice on small pieces, it's time to do the head liner. If you don't feel comfy doing it get someone to help or even call your local upholstry shop. The only problem area I had was around the visor brackets and back hooks. I worked the fabric in after a while and it turned out OK. Next, you will have to do the trimming and then install everything you took out. I hope this helps out for you guys! And don't blame me if you completely **** it up!

Sorry to hear the vinyl didn't work out for you. Vinyl is harder to work with. I would recommend to use a heat gun to get it soft and workable. Microfiber is good and strechable, that's why I used it.

I used microfiber suede. Easier to clean (if you have to), also easier to work with and costs about 1/4 as suede. It looks and feels like the real deal.

Yes, I sprayed over the old headliner. I sprayed the adhesive generously on the headliner, and lightly onto the fabric. When you put the fabric on, it is not cut exactly to size. Once it is on the headliner and dried, then trim it to size. You really only have to get the front and back cut neatly, the sides will be tucked behind the pillars and weather stripping. The microfiber is a bit of a bitch to cut, so use some nice sharp scissors. You can get some Fiskars (scissors) for a decent price.

Did you paint the fabric, or did you peel it off and paint the plastic?
