Help! Halo Projectors

Okay so...I have an '06 SS/SC Silver. Need to know which Gen halo's to buy. I'm gonna get black. Very confused on the generations and what each one is.

I got gen 1 they are peeling and I herd the Halos like to die on Gen 2.

Lol hmm. I like the look of gen 2's. But don't wanna have to replace halo's every 2 months. Mike I'm hoping you can help me do all my wiring of course

I'm just not sure I like the look of the gen 1's. I need to know what they'll look like on a silver SS!!! And what are sidemarkers?

I'm on my second set of gen 2s and I can say that the eyebrows have burnt out on all of them within 2 hrs of use!

so gen 1s for the win

I've got the first gen, and yes they do like to peel.. Mine are peeling like crazy, I may try to do something with them this winter..Beside that, I've had no issues with them. All my halo's and leds in the eyelid still work.

Gen 1's have lots of problems.

Gen 2's I hear die (sadly)

Gen 3s Are just uglyish.

I ordered 2nd gen from kingsource.com

Never had any problems with Halo's burning out. Id say get the 2nd Gen. 1st Gen has that ugly ass turn signal. 2nd gen comes pre-wired in a harness and just looks the best.
