HID bulbs and glare?

I want to get hid's for my headlights but i have heard that you need an pair aftermarket headlights or lens that don't produce glare on your headlights to prevent glare form the bulbs, is this true?

You'll want projector headlights for proper HID usage.

Don't bother if you already have projectors. Get a dual beam kit for your projectors. Not sure on the DRL.

Well then you're good to go. Get a HID kit that matches the bulb type of you're projectors, and plug it in. Don't get a kit for the high beams, it will take too long for an hid kit to warm up when switching to high beams, leave the standard halogen bulb in the high beam slot. Pull the DRL fuse if you're an 07-10, because the lower voltage with the DRLS will mess with the hid kit and cause it to malfunction over time.
