I have 2nd Gen projectors, can the ballast be used for 3rd gens?

Hey BTW do 3rd gens have good lighting range? Because 2nd gens don't lol

Ballast are all the same

and yes the 3rd gens have good lightng range, used to have a pare my self the lense peels really bad tho

The ballasts usually are the same. However, you will need to purchase new bulbs since Generation 2 uses H7 instead of the H1 that the 3rd's use. The new H1 bulbs will plug into the connectors of the existing ballast.

Also would I have to buy 2 more ballast to run hi-beams or could I just buy the bulbs?

You would need to buy a full kit for the high beams.

So yea, you'll need to buy a complete kit for the highs, then just a set of H1 replacement bulbs for the lows.
