HID fogs installation question
HID fogs installation question
Hi everyone! I have a question concerning HID fogs.
I have a 2006 SS and I already have HID in my 3gen projectors. I want now to have HID fogs but I'm not sure how to mount them properly.
Where do you guys put the ballasts and for the bulb, how does it secure in the fogs ?
I mean, on my 3gen, you have a clip to secure the bulb, but for the fogs, how does it work ?
I have searched for an How-to but didn't find anything. I've done my headlight with the how-to and it was very helpful but now, i'm a little confused with my fogs.
I know that i need H11 and a plug&play kit, but as for the mounting, i'm not sure!
Thanks for the help!
PS if someone as pictures of the HID kit mounted or a how-to, I'd really like to see it!

The bulb itself twists and locks in the fog lights just like the factory bulbs do. If you have room you can mount the ballast under the black headlight bracket and if there is no room there then you can mount the ballasts to the black liner that is on the bottom of the bumper right below the headlights.
