Heres a pic of my gen 1's with the hid's i know the cutoff isnt level. im pretty damn close to the garage also. my question is theres a focus of like void right in the middle of the headlights that i feel keeps alot of light from actually making it to the road.... i feel like i have very limited light hitting the road... i know theres a thread on here somewhere about this but i cannot find it anywhere.

 

yeah, most Gen1s suck with HIDs in them, they usually make a big dark V on the ground in front. retrofits are where its at

 

do you reccomend any certain brand of retrofit that fits h1 bulbs? ive got a set of stock headlights sitting around in my garage.

 

Morimoto Mini H1 projectors are the best ones that use H1. You can get them from theretrofitsource.com

 

thanks. how difficult is a retrofit if u had to rate it 1-10? ive read several how to's and it looks pretty straight forward.
