HID Install help!

Hey guys, so i just installed Xentec Hid's in my headlights and foglights, everything worked fine, drove home went to look at them again and the fogs are not working!?! I checked the foglamp fuse that was fine, i checked the connections and they were fine, any ideas? I hear you are sposed to buy a relay along with the kit to make its own power source in a sense? but I just dont understand why the headlights are working fine and the foglights went out

thats the thing, i was looking at installtion vids and such, and i connected nothing to ground or the remote battery terminal and all the threads are showing connections to an external source not the factory harness..

id say u have a connection issue. a relay harness stops flickering by giving a constant voltage from the battery to the relay harness, rather than going through the harness to the balast

okay so not using a relay harness is not the problem its either a connection or a bulb issue?
