Hello guys, just got a HID Kit for my 2005 Cobalt SS/SC and was wondering where a good spot to mount both of the ballasts would be?

you can mount them pretty much anywhere under the headlight inside the bumper. Im sure you will have the headlights off. your passenger side has a mount spot that has a 10mm bolt on it. loosen and take it off, thats one spot. The drivers side, I used the same mount has the horn. actually put the box right behind the horn. Don't put them too low.

 

or take off your headlight mounting brackets and mount them under there.

 

^^ I did that to my last set but noticed had a slight problem getting the headlights back on. The slim ballast fit fine there but still had that problem.
