Its far from rice! If you have your car in shows/events or you just don't want to put holes in your bumper this is the way to go. I wish I would have known about these before I put my plate on when I bought my car, I would have went with this kit for sure.

i see nothing wrong with this since most people would use it for shows and meets. ecotec driver all you ever have to say is negative against the cobalt why dont you get the hell out of here and buy one of the real cars you always mention or is your little g5 all you could afford you are by far the biggest troll this site has ever had

too bad if I want to run a speed trap with the mph and camera Im not going to pull over and flip it, I want to press a button. whats the point of getting it if its manual? They have better ones, you just havent found them yet. Nobody is stupid here, people just are thinking different ways of using this piece of equipment, some for looks, others for getting out of tickets. both are great but I like the ticket one.

I want mine for looks. So, I don't mind getting out and flipping it if I have to. The only time I would flip it, is if I get told to by a cop, or if I ever get pulled over.

If I get pulled over for not having a front plate, I'll just say it flipped down while I was driving and flip it back up.
