Okay guys, so everyday I have a love/hate thing for my high rise on my SS. I like the high rise and then I don't. The low rise looks great in my opinion, but I see base models all the time with them and it turns me off lol. Then wingless I like, but then I would have to fill holes in my trunk and would look sloppy. I have a crystal red metallic color and there are no wingless trunks in that color , so that's not an option either.

im guessing you dont want to or cant afford (neither can I) a CF tjin trunk, then i would go low rise.

edit: i guess if you could afford a CF Tjin trunk, you could fill the holes and paint your trunk.

 

I probably could afford one, but I have more "important" things to focus on lol. So no that's not an option unfortunately

 

Wingless and tint the tails

 

I did that on my base model balt and it looked great for a while but didn't like it so much afterwords. Keeping the tails the way they are unless I replace them with LED's or something. Which is not anytime soon.

BTW I have black "SS" badges on the back now so it looks slightly different than the pictures shown. and no chevy badge

 

lol i hear yah man, thats why i have an SS/NA and not an SC. either way IMO you have one of the best colors offered, and only for one year. I love my Lowrise from some angles, but straight from the back i think it can look kinda silly.

 

keep the high-rise, i think it makes the SS, and it also blocks the lights from cars behind you win win

 

I actually have a full set on LED taillights both outer, and reverse lights I'm trying to get of.

 

low rise. i think there is a diff between my low rise and the base model low rise. not sure though. when i saw it , it looked tiny compared to mines

 

I'm a fan of the highrise. Stick with that.

 

Highrise is winning I think I will keep it. I look at it and it gives it that ooomp lol. Plus I had to pay $200 to get it painted (highrise discontinued in 2010)

Highrise FTL. It gives the SS a bad name, Big ass wing on a FWD car. lol

That's my opinion though. I went wingless and would never go back.

 

Highrise all the way, gives the SS its trademark look, makes it look aggressive.

 

I think TCs should be low rise only since SCs were high rise only. I like those looks

 

Keep the high rise IMO. Low rise just sucks and for me wingless only looks good when you have a proper wheel combo and the car is slammed.
